Important to know before you start
- Our stickers consist of three layers: the backing, the sticker and the application tape
- The ideal temperature for applying the sticker is 10 – 32 degrees Celsius (50 – 89 degrees Fahrenheit). If you want to apply the sticker with lower temperatures heat the surface on which you want to apply the sticker with a hairdryer and also do this after applying the sticker.
- Do not work too fast, sometimes the sticker does not want to let go of the backing or application foil immediately and need some help. For example, if you remove the application foil too quickly, the sticker may tear during assembly.
- For large stickers we recommend an additional person to assist in the application process.
- Do not use detergents that leave a protection layer on the surface on which you want to apply the sticker. This might be the case with some window cleaners. Do not use detergent that contains lemon or ammoniac these will affect the bonding agent of the sticker.
- Small parts or sharp edges of the sticker are vulnerable and may come loose after or when using your windshield wipers.
- After applying your sticker wait a couple of days before you wash your car.
- There are multiple instructional video’s available on streaming sites like YouTube.
- Removing our stickers is the same as any other type of sticker. Avoid using aggressive cleaners that might damage the paint of your car. If your having trouble removing a sticker you can use a hairdryer or other kind of heating device when removing the sticker. Peel the sticker of slowly and remove any residue with a little degreaser.
Necessities
- Warm water and detergent
- Alcohol or degreaser
- Cleaning cloth (make sure it’s clean and dry)
- Masking tape
- Tape-measure and pencil
- Squeegee or bankcard
- Hobby knife, scissors and needle
Dry method
Using this method requires that you apply the sticker right the first time. There are no 2nd attempts.
1. Place your sticker on a flat surface and use your squeegee/bankcard to firmly apply the application tape to the sticker.
2. Clean, degrease and dry the surface on which you want to apply the sticker. To do this use detergent with water and afterwards alcohol and/or degreaser.
3. Determine where you want to apply the sticker. You can use a tape measure and a pencil to mark the exact position.
4. Use masking tape to hold the sticker in place. Do this by applying the tape on the centerline of your sticker so that you create to workable halves. If it is a small sticker you may choose not to do this step at your own risk.
5. Remove the backing from one of the halves up to the centerline that you created with the masking tape. Use your scissors to cut away the loose backing. When step 1 has been done properly the sticker should stick on the application tape.
6. Using an squeegee/bankcard slowly apply the sticker to the surface. Do this from the centerline outwards. The slower you perform this action the less chance there is of air getting underneath you sticker.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for the other half of your sticker.
8. When the sticker is applied to the surface use your squeegee/bankcard and rub over the application tape on last time.
9. Remove the application tape. Start at a corner and slowly pull the application tape diagonally of the sticker.
10. If there are any air bubbles between the sticker and the surface you can puncture them with a needle and with your squeegee/bankcard push the air out through the hole. You can also use a hairdryer when pushing out the air this way the air is pushed out more easily through the hole.
Wet method
When using this method you can slightly move the sticker because of a thin layer of moisture between the sticker and the surface. However, if you pull the application foil too fast and the sticker is not glued everywhere you cane tear the sticker apart. This method also reduces the chance of getting air bubbles.

10. When the sticker is applied to the surface use your squeegee/bankcard and rub over the application tape on last time.
11. Wait roughly 30 minutes before removing the backing. This way the moisture has a chance to evaporate. If the sticker moves somewhere, let it dry for longer and try again later.
12. Remove the application tape. Start at a corner and slowly pull the application tape diagonally of the sticker.
13. If there are any air bubbles between the sticker and the surface you can puncture them with a needle and with your squeegee/bankcard push the air out through the hole. You can also use a hairdryer when pushing out the air this way the air is pushed out more easily through the hole.
